**About the role**:
Gradi Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our HR team on a fulltime, 6-month maternity leave contract with the possibility to extend.
Reporting to the HR Manager, this role is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees and reporting to the company.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Preparing and processing of weekly Payroll for multiple sites.
- Processing of End of Pay and End of Month procedures.
- Prepare reports associated with payrolls.
- Monitoring the payroll inbox.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure current knowledge is maintained and accurately applied of legislative instruments affecting payroll, including the National Employment Standards, Awards, the Enterprise Agreement, superannuation, and taxation.
- HR support as required.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an end-to-end payroll position
- Excellent understanding of payroll legislation and processes
- Knowledge of payroll systems (Roubler & Xero) is advantageous.
- Be systems savvy and advanced with Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work closely and build strong relationships with the team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to come into the office 5 days a week.
