Immediate 3-4 month role for an experienced Maintenance Planner in the health sector based in inner Melbourne
**Your new company**
My client, a large healthcare provider is urgently seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner for a 3 - 4 month contract position commencing ASAP with a strong potential for permanency for the right person.
**Your new role**
- This position is responsible for the accurate scoping, programming and implementation of planned and reactive maintenance and building compliance works within this large and complex critical asset organisation. You will be required to oversee the auditing of contractor performance and for ensuring effective communication and co-ordination with stakeholders/users.
- Beyond your immediate team, you will be required to work closely with other internal departments, user Coordinators and stakeholders to effectively implement this organisation's planned and reactive maintenance program.
- On a day-to-day basis you will be expected to inspect and assess the facility and provide an analysis of required maintenance and compliance works e.G. HVAC, ESM & Plant equipment. You will be expected to support the Group Assets Manager in the development and implementation of planned maintenance and compliance work programs and ensure works are carried out to the contractual agreements. You will be expected to prepare regular reports, collate and input data in to the system and undertake inspections on live projects.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will have;
- qualifications in either engineering and or facilities management
- solid knowledge of building facilities maintenance and asset management principles
- experience in contractor supervision ideally within critical assets (courts /prisons/ hospitals/ aged care)
- demonstrated experience in a Public setting in maintenance planning, scheduling and estimating will be highly regarded.
