We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our multidisciplinary team on an ongoing basis. This is a full time role **based in Altona, Victoria.**

**THE ROLE**

The Maintenance Planner is accountable for ensuring all maintenance works are scheduled in such a way that critical safety systems are maintained and available at all times.

Your primary responsibilities include:

- Plan and schedule in SAP all maintenance works raised.
- Liaise with the Client, the Maintenance Coordinator and Contract Lead to ensure alignment on the timing of scheduled maintenance activities.
- Coordinate vendors' quotes and material procurement to achieve maintenance schedule.
- Steward the completion of required QA documentation.
- Prepare control of defeat (COD) and detail description of task (DTT).

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**

To be successful you will have:

- Trade qualification
- Terminal or refinery experience
- Experienced in planning and executing maintenance activities in a brownfield site
- Experience in budgets and forecasts
- Understanding of safety and environmental legislation
- Strong interpersonal skills
- An innovative mindset focussed on continuous improvement
