A great opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our fully geared Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Amberley.

In this role, you'll support the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities for Defence assets. You’ll work closely with the Senior Regional Planner and collaborate with both Ventia and Defence teams to make sure work is planned, resourced, and delivered smoothly.

About the role

- Use the Commonwealth Sap S4/HANA System to plan and manage approved maintenance programs and Work Orders within work groups.
- Conduct maintenance work planning in line with the fleet maintenance planning directions issued by the Senior Regional Planner.
- Identify maintenance tasks, parts and resources required.
- Source parts via internal and external means.
- Provide feedback to Commonwealth Personnel on the progress of scheduled maintenance programs.
- Liaise with the Scheduling team to effectively Plan maintenance around Commonwealth priorities and planned completion dates.
- Liaise with the Scheduling team to effect changes in scheduling to meet customer requirements.

About you

- You might already be working in maintenance planning or scheduling, or perhaps you’re a hands-on tradesperson ready to move into a planning role – either way, we’d love to hear from you.
- Please note: You must be an Australian citizen and eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance.
- It’s ideal (but not essential) if you have:
- Experience in maintenance planning or scheduling
- A trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or similar)
- Familiarity with SAP or similar systems – or a willingness to learn
- You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
