Birkenstock Australia Pty Ltd is the Australian importer for the entire range of orthopedically designed Birkenstock shoes and sandals, as well as Birkenstock Orthopaedic supplies and their cosmetics range.

The company was established in 1999 and has experienced rapid growth. Currently the company is looking after the needs of more than 400 retailers.

We are seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Birkenstock Australia sales team at our Head Office in Clifton Hill. Reporting to the Account Manager and Brand Manager, you will be responsible for a broad range of Account Coordination duties.

This role will sit within the Birkenstock Australia Sales Team and will be a full-time role at our Clifton Hill office with no option to work from home in the first 3 months. There is room for flexibility after 3 months of training has been completed. There will be some travel required in this role so flexibility with this is essential as our clients are spread out across Australia.

**Scope of the role**:
The scope of this role is constantly evolving so you will need to be comfortable with change, but primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Assisting the team with ranges to present to wholesale customers
- Manage and work on existing accounts delegated to you by the Account Manager such as The Iconic, B Store, General Pants and Glue Store just to name a few
- Maintain strong customer relationships and develop new Accounts with the Sales team
- Assist with product presentations to key account contacts and front line staff
- Organising and participating in trade fairs
- Assist with brand-related enquiries.
- Manage stock and orders including data entry alongside the Sales team
- Preparing sales orders for customers
- Supporting sales/office team
- Providing Reception back-up when needed
- Intra
- and interstate travel
- Data entry into SAP

**The experience and attributes we would like you to have include**:

- A minimum of 1 year demonstrated, relevant work history and experience in an office related role in an Australian business environment is essential
- A passion and love for retail is a must
- Be a great communicator with excellent people skills
- The ability to work effectively both in a team and independently in a fast-paced team
- Be available to work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
- High level attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate computer skills, with previous experience using Microsoft 365, specifically Excel. Experience with SAP is also highly desirable but not essential

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
