Contract Opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor / Payroll Team Leader / Payroll Manage in the South Sydney area

**Your new company**

You will be working within a national leading, service provider that's located in the South Sydney region - this company is undergoing a payroll restructure offering copious amounts of upskilling and process cleanup. The office culture pride themselves on being collaborative, mentoring and friendly. This is a great opportunity for you to maintain and develop your payroll management whilst the company continues to transition with the new normality of payroll processing after a recent upgrade. This will be a short term role with likelihood of extension or permanent.

**Your new role**
- Oversee payroll operations
- Stakeholder management - being updated on award and interpretation changes to relay back to payroll officers
- Point of escalation for payroll issues
- Review award interpretations and EAs
- Get hands dirty in end to end payroll timesheet processing
- Payroll backlog, testing and upgrade projects
- Customer service

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience or knowledge of project management and leadership
- Understands roll-outs of time and attendance
- Previous exposure of volume timesheet processing
- Customer service
- Sound knowledge of EAs and award interpretations
