**About You and the Role**:
This entry level role provides a great stepping stone where you will be able to gain exposure to Payroll processes and make the most of your administration experience by providing support across records management, data entry, accounts/invoices and managing a centralised inbox for a small team of payroll professionals. You will be the first point of contact for all payroll related enquiries, and will be responsible for triaging, responding or redirecting enquiries accordingly.
You will be a confident, articulate, energetic ‘can do’ person with exceptional attention to detail who has the utmost respect for confidentiality, and considers themselves a natural problem solver.
**What you will do;**:
- Communicate and liaise with employees, projects, and external vendors, for administrative purposes.
- Provide administrative support and assist with ad-hoc admin duties as directed by Payroll Manager or Payroll Supervisor
- Respond to all queries in a timely manner
- Payment of Statutory obligations as directed
- Take care of the office workspace, mail, and office equipment
- Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, reporting, systems, and procedures
- Run daily payrun updating process
- Maintain payroll inbox
**What we are looking for;**:
- Experience working in an administrative role within an office environment
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy skills
- Familiarity with administrative practices and procedures
- Records management experience
