- We are now seeking a talented and professional Legal Assistant on a full time basis in our Canberra office to join our National Work and Road team. This role will have you supporting the Workers' Compensation team. Your positive approach to work will be driven by your willingness to achieve successful outcomes.- The major responsibilities for you in this role will include (but not be limited to):
- Liaising with clients, insurers and other lawyers;
- Preparing briefs to counsel;
- Arranging appointments;
- Generating reports;
- Producing and filing various court documents;
- Extensive diary management; and
- All other administrative tasks.
- Generating & editing correspondence;
- Liaising with clients on a daily basis with sensitivity and empathy.

What will you bring?
- To secure this rare opportunity, you will have:
- Previous experience as a legal assistant, personal assistant or legal secretary supporting a personal injury law team;
- A high attention to detail;
- Proven time management;
- An ability to deal sensitively with clients and show empathy when required;
- Working in a team environment is essential.
