**Entry-Level Project Officer Position**

**About the Role**: As an Entry-Level Project Officer at Uniting, you’ll be providing essential administrative and project coordination support to the Business Systems and Reporting Lead, as well as the wider Business Support Team. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in project management while contributing to the successful delivery of business projects and initiatives. You will have the chance to manage project timelines, help with communication, and support the coordination of important project work.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Business Systems and Reporting Lead with administrative tasks and project coordination
- Support the Business Support Team in the smooth execution of projects and advise on project best practices
- Help manage project timelines, workplans, and project documentation
- Prepare clear and concise papers and documents to communicate project progress, outcomes, and goals to key stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across various business divisions
- Ensure that internal stakeholders are regularly updated and involved in projects
- Lead and support audit processes for service delivery across the Uniting network

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well-organized, systematic, and detail-oriented approach to work
- Demonstrated experience in administration or project coordination (even if it’s through internships or part-time roles)
- Ability to build relationships with peers and stakeholders
- Comfort with project management tools and eagerness to learn new systems
- Basic skills in data manipulation, reporting, and tools like Excel
- A desire to work in change management and transformation projects

**Even better**:

- Knowledge of, and experience with, client management systems
- Experience in change management deliverables
- Experience as a Project Coordinator, Office Manager or similar
