The Business

We are one of the largest owners, operators and developers of retirement living communities in Australia, with a current portfolio of 75+ villages and over 17,000 residents calling our villages home.

Our residents are independent retirees who have sought the company and safety of living in a community of like-minded individuals with service provided that give them and their families the reassurance that they will be cared for if the need arises.

The Role

Set high in the suburb of Belrose, Glenaeon is a vibrant retirement village with panoramic views of the ocean and acres of native bushland, which offers quality amenities, friendly neighbours and a tranquil setting for our residents and their families. Glenaeon comprises both serviced apartments and independent living units (not residential aged care).

Shifts will be a mixture of daytime shifts and afternoon shifts that continue onto an overnight shift. The shift times are as shown below and run 7 days a week.- 7:30am - 3:30pm (day shift)- 3:30pm to 8pm with a sleepover, then 5:30am - 7:30am (afternoon/overnight shift)

Reporting the Village Manager, your duties will include:
- Responding to resident enquiries- Responding to call outs- Undertaking first aid- Initiating emergency services where required- Basic admin tasks- Conducting welfare checks on residents and referring them to our home care consultant- Assisting with our colourful village events

About You- A current Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain)- The ability to make critical decisions and remain calm under pressure- Be motivated and able to take initiative- Basic computer skills

Please note: The successful applicant must complete a Police Check & will be required to receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of April-October. For selected roles more that are more physical in nature such as this position, pre-employment medical assessments may also be required prior to any employment offers being made.
