Mother’s Helper

**Our Family**:

- We are a loving family of 3 - we have a beautiful, gentle 1 year old full of energy and happiness. Our home is very nurturing, and we are looking for someone to be a long term part of our family. As a parent, I believe in gentle, respectful care that supports secure attachment and encourages each child's individuality. I hope to create a calm, fun and consistent environment where my little one feels safe, seen, and supported. We're looking for someone who shares a kind and patient approach and will become a trusted extra set of hands in our family's daily rhythm. We are hoping to have more children in the near future so we would love to grow our village for future help.

**Your Duties**:

- Flexible on days/times just looking for the right person - Supervise and play with the 1-year-old - indoor and outdoor play - Prepare and serve snacks - Read books, sing songs, and engage in sensory/play-based learning activities - Help with toddler's laundry - especially folding and putting away his clothes - Maintain tidiness in shared spaces and the kids' rooms - Pack/unpack nappy bag - Organise toddler clothes and toys (e.g., rotate toys, fold clothes) - Help get everyone ready for outings (sunscreen, hats, water bottles, etc.)

- Our ideal Mother's Helper is someone warm, calm, and genuinely enjoys being around young children. You're proactive, thoughtful, and know how to lend a hand without needing constant direction. You have a gentle and kind approach to care and understand the importance of being responsive and creating a connection with our little one. You're comfortable caring for toddlers and engaging in play, stories, or outdoor time. You're happy to help with light household tasks that keep the day flowing smoothly - folding laundry, tidying up, or just making life a little easier for our family. Reliability, patience, and a nurturing spirit. We'd love someone who feels like an extended part of the family - someone our little one looks forward to seeing and who brings a calm, steady presence to our home. We are looking for someone who will engage with our toddler and help them feel safe as we may have another baby in the near future. Someone who our toddler will love and trust when things start to change with a growing family
