**The Role**

This high profile federal government is seeking an experienced EL 1 Policy Officer. In this role you will work closely with other central agencies to build support, shape and prioritise significant policy proposals, including new spending proposals to implement the Government's agenda.

**Do You Have?**
- Good strategic judgement and critical thinking skills, and experience providing advice to ministers, senior executives or senior management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and an ability to communicate complex concepts succinctly
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in teams with different skillsets and views
- Initiative, resilience, and ability to manage competing and changing priorities, and
- Ability to contribute to a positive team environment

Formal qualifications or experience in one or more of the following is desirable but not required: social policy, economics, finance, business, social work, psychology, labour analytics or data visualisation.
