What does the **Product Coordinator** DO?

Some of the incredible things you’ll be doing are:
Data integrity

*
RESPonsible for the entry and management of sku’s, attributes, valuation information, etc. in rms, making sure the information is correct at each stage of the development cycle
- responsible for raising purchase orders in a timely manner and adjusting according to any changes to make sure po’s are up to date at all times
- ensure order confirmations are received from suppliers
- ensure orders are received by finance team for payment
- update and maintain supplier register in rms, communicate any changes to relevant departments
- ensuring item attributes are delivered for each range, CONFIRMING accurate information
- creation of barcodes for each range, ensuring they are sent to suppliers in a timely manner after po raise
- product reorders
- responsible for managing the reorder process. this includes quoting, negotiating, and raising orders within a timely manner (within 4 weeks of receiving product list)
- ensuring target margin is reached and any challenges are communicated to the head of product and the planning team
- keeping the planning team informed of order status
- ENSURING PRODUCT QUALITY BEFORE SHIPMENT of reordered stock

internal support

organising samples sent from suppliers via our chosen courier method, HAND OVER TO RELEVANT PRODUCT MANAGERS
- ensuring all courier shipments are documented and maintained
- ordering samples for the product team and other departments including marketing and visual merchandising, ensuring samples are delivered to each team in a timely manner. keeping teams aware of any sample delays
- develop training tools for all ranges
- create and maintain training tools for product related processes (including monogramming)
- keep gso and retail teams up to date with changes or important product information (including additions to team talk)
- assist internal teams (marketing, vm, guest experience, finance etc.) with extra samples, product queries or purchase order information

quality control

ensure that quality issues are addressed with the relevant product manager
- develop response for retail teams IN REGARD TO any quality issues that occur including within store product feedback
- ensure internal teams are aware of product quality faults, including reporting on stock quality issues during team meetings
- keep communication with dc teams to ensure product issues are solved in a timely manner
- follow up quality issues with store teams to obtain photos or faulty samples
- follow up quality issues with suppliers to determine resolution, communicate this to internal teams
- create qima quoting documents and confirm product testing with product managers
- manage the qima testing process and ensure files are up to date
- ensuring a set of archive samples for each range are available for the team

range development and sourcing

develop and source products when requested by head of product or product managers
- this includes updating packaging, updating logos, developing existing products with new suppliers, developing new products to address gap in product ranges, etc.
- ensure online and photography teams are briefed on any new developments
- develop, source and order kikki.k consumables
- assist product managers with development of ranges as requested
- ensure deadlines are met for sourcing projects and gp/cost targets are achieved

shipment

report on incoming stock delays and relay to relevant team members
- produce purchase order reports and send to relevant team members
- work with shipping coordinator to ensure all stock is booked for shipments on time
- follow up on any shipping issues such as confirming shipping status, stock missing, stock delays, etc.
- ENSURE SHIPPING MARKS ON CARTONS ARE CORRECT
- ensure purchase orders are adjusted accordingly in a timely manner
