A great opportunity exists for a Production Coordinator to join our team based in our new facility in Clayton. In this role you will be responsible for converting sales orders to production outputs, from bill of materials, the creation of work orders, identifying and sorting parts for the work orders and ensuring the workflow for the assembly.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, the following.
- Process production sales orders in SAP and ensure orders are closed on completion of production orders.
- Develop and maintain a production schedule that meets customer demand and deadlines.
- Coordinate with suppliers and supply chain to ensure all materials are available to produce the assemblies based on customer required date and raise and receipt stock transfers when applicable.
- Ensure that production plans are updated regularly to meet monthly targets, adjusting resources and schedules as needed to stay on track and achieve the set goals.
- Work closely with the sales and customer service teams and respond to any production-related queries raised.
- Maintain production-related documentation and records.
- Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure that the finished products are shipped out on time.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for production employees.
- Ensure finished products meet quality assurance standards and quarantine defective products.
- Develop and maintain department procedures.

**Background & Skills**:

- Qualification in process manufacturing or equivalent manufacturing qualification would be beneficial
- Minimum of 3 years in a production coordination position within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and SAP
- Familiarity with production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
