**About the role**

Reporting to the Workplace Relations Lead, this role will be responsible for providing trusted internal advice on employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) matters. You will build effective relationships and increase leadership capability by advising and coaching people leaders on a variety of matters such as; performance management, disciplinary matters, incidents, investigations, complaints, complex ER/IR matters, change management, complex Enterprise Agreement (EA) interpretation, policies and processes. You will also be responsible for providing expert, high level advice and solutions regarding complex interpersonal conflict, workplace compliance activity and contractual matters.

This is a temporary 3 month opportunity based at Knox Civic Centre, we welcome both full time or part time applicants. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.

This is a Band 7 classified role. Remuneration will be $107,507.54 to $120,572.47 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

**What you will bring to this role**

The key selection criteria for this role are:

- Comprehensive experience in the end to end management of complex ER cases in addition to coaching and supporting managers to address issues and prevent reoccurrence.
- Experience in delivering change management processes, especially drawing on project management skills, coaching, advising and supporting line managers.
- Experience leading complex investigations, disciplinary processes and grievances.
- Experience resolving employee/employer/union related disputes.
- Proven HR advisory experience and an understanding of relevant legislation, enterprise agreements/awards and developments in Human Resources.
- Well-developed communication skills, with strong attention to detail, particularly in the provision of accurate, confidential and sensitive advice and support to senior management.
