The Role: The Workplace Relations Consultant (Employee Relations) provides high-level employee relations consultancy and advisory services to managers and Human Resources (HR) staff within the Agency in relation to Awards and Agreements, legislation interpretation, grievances and complaints and employee relations policy development and implementation. The role also provides expert advice on workplace investigations and other State Service employment frameworks. You will need to: - Provide a high-level consultancy service to HR Managers and their staff, and senior management in the Agency on employee relations matters. - Provide specialist advice and high-level support to the Manager- Employee Relations, HR team members, and Managers on the investigation and resolution of employee complaints, grievances, inability and disciplinary matters, industrial/award disputes, and the management of client complaints. - Liaise with the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner, Ombudsman, State Service Management Office and other relevant State, Commonwealth and Local Government departments on the handling of incidents and procedures. Salary:$107,899 to $122,292 per annum.Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. - Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
