Job Description
- Provide expert advice on industrial and employee relations matters.
- Support enterprise agreement negotiations and implementation.
- Assist in resolving workplace disputes and grievances effectively.
- Draft and review policies related to industrial and employee relations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with workplace laws and regulations.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on IR/ER trends and best practices.
- Support the HR team in managing organisational change initiatives.
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
A successful IR/ER professional should have:
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Proven ability to support enterprise bargaining processes, including finalisation, certification and implementation.
- Experience in industrial and employee relations within the Public Sector or similar environments.
- Strong understanding of Australian workplace laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage workplace disputes and grievances.
- Analytical skills to interpret and apply industrial relations data.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
