About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you will be responsible for the management of the Workplace Relations team, providing high level strategic and authoritative advice on complex and sensitive issues to senior management. This position will play a key role in identifying emerging workplace relations risks, actively and collaboratively working with relevant stakeholders to develop positive workplace relation interventions.
About you
The skills and experience required in the position include, but are not limited to the following:

- Excellent interpersonal skills to form credible and effective relationships and networks with key stakeholders that result in improved outcomes with a strategic and practical approach
- Proven capabilities with a customer focus to ensure that employee and industrial standards and programs are developed and delivered in line with key stakeholder expectations
- A high understanding of conflict management and resolution, with a focus on the ability to lead and drive a team
- Use negotiation and influencing skills to contribute to union discussions

Qualifications for the role
- A relevant tertiary qualification in employment law or a related field
- Extensive demonstrated experience in Workplace Relations and People and Culture as a trusted business partner
