The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Village Response Attendant, General Services to join our team at the Lutanda Retirement Village in Pennant Hills.
Our residents are independent retirees who have sought the company and safety of living in a community of like-minded individuals with service provided that give them and their families the reassurance that they will be cared for if the need arises.
Duties will include spending time with our residents, assisting with our colourful events & activities, service of tea/coffee & meals, overseeing our community facilities, conducting welfare checks on residents, responding to call outs, undertaking first aid and initiating emergency services where required.
A range of shifts available, including 3-hour day shifts within school hours, as well as weekends & on-call sleepover shifts. Additional assistance may be required for leave coverage.
About You- Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain)- Be able to make critical decisions- Be motivated, able to take initiative and adapt as required.- Computer Skills (desirable)

Please note: The successful applicant must complete a Police Check, will be required to receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of April-October as well as provide proof of the COVID-19 Vaccination with supporting documentation prior to joining. For selected roles more physical in nature such as this position, pre-employment medical assessments may also be required prior to any employment offers being made.
