**About the role**

You will be responsible for providing a welcoming, efficient and effective service to all internal and external customers. This is a critical role which represents Pokolbin Village directly in assisting the needs of our community as well as playing a pivotal role in taking Council's Customer Experience to the next level.

**Selection Criteria**
- Passion for providing fantastic customer service
- Experience working in a contact centre desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field e.g diploma or certificate in customer service, business administration, or communications
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure team environment
- Demonstrated sensitivity in dealing with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Experience handling cash and processing payments
- Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a roster to carry out customer experience and call centre duties
- Openness and willingness to change and continually improve business processes
- Ability to work across all Council's Service Centre locations including any temporary Customer Experience Service locations
- Must be fully vaccinated (minimum 2 doses) with an approved COVID-19 vaccine and provide Council with evidence of vaccination, or an accepted certified medical contraindication. Council reserves the right to confirm the validity of contraindications in accordance with NSW Health guidelines, and to direct a Worker to undertake an independent medical examination in relation to the issuance of a medical contraindication certificate.
