Your New Role

You will perform your role with an emphasis on quality, accuracy, timeliness, compliance and excellent customer service that drives a process of continuous improvement in practices, outputs and to foster and develop constructive working relationships across the company. The ‘can do, will do’ persona is preferred.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing incoming calls and customer service enquiries by identifying and assessing customers' requirements
- Maintaining excellent customer service at all times
- Monitoring and assigning accounts with outstanding debts to Collections team
- Planning and implementing a course of action to recover outstanding payments
- Negotiating pay for deadlines or payment plans
- Overseeing, handling and answering questions or complaints
- Using CRM systems to keep detailed notes regarding conversations with customers and outcomes

What you need to succeed
- Customer Service experience
- Excellent phone manners (previous experience preferred)
- High attention to detail
- Energy Industry experience in same or similar role (Desirable but not essential:)
- An understanding of utilities sector rules & regulations (Desirable but not essential:)
- Intermediate Excel skills (Desirable but not essential:)
- Debt collection experience (Desirable but not essential:)
