**About You**
- You have experience in working in an environment that provides services to individuals who are marginalized and may exhibit challenging behaviours.
- You possess a high level of skill and exercise a high degree of initiative to perform under broad supervision but requires some independent action environment demanding confidentiality and discretion.
- You have experience of providing administration and clerical support to teams within the specialise area of Drug & Alcohol Treatment Services, or equivalent.
**Where you'll be working**
The Drug and Alcohol (D&A) Administration Officer is a member of the D&A Service Support team. D&A Administration Officers provide a comprehensive range of high level administrative and public/customer relation support functions to support the achievement of the D&A Service (DAS). The position-holder will support one or more of the 7 principal administration positions within DAS.
This recruitment is mainly for roles at D&A Wyong, but future opportunities may also arise at D&A sites at Gosford or Wyong Hospitals. The person filling this position will be rotated amongst the AO roles at the Wyong Drug Treatment Centre. (Wallama Clinic, main D&A Service line/Reception or Ward).
Working hours are Monday to Friday (3 days per week) and will be 8-hour shifts commencing at either 8:00 or 8:30 AM. Each Admin Officer plays a crucial role in facilitating communication within the team, and the position calls for someone with strong organizational and work practice skills.
The Administration Officer should possess the ability to be non-judgemental and able to work under pressure in delivery of services to CCLHD D&A health consumers.
