**About the role**

As part of the Member Analytics team, your role will be to work on and identify areas of opportunity or business problems and provide data driven member insights and recommendations that are actionable, scientifically backed yet easy to understand to support the HCF business and members.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of initiatives and business problems (from growth to retention, marketing and web analytics, member experience in all our digital and assisted channels) and aspire to be a data and business SME that will directly influence the tactical and strategic decision-making process at HCF.

**Key responsibilities***

You will be an internal analytics consultant that collaborate with:

- Marketing to set the measures of success, setup reporting, with a strong focus on providing insights and recommendations (such as experiments, personalisation) towards continuous improvement of performance
- Growth to attract new members, help optimise media spend and raise brand awareness via a very large range of channels and in collaboration with our external partners
- Member Experience to move towards the best possible experience for our members in all parts of the customer journey via all our digital and/or assisted channels
- Loyalty to make sure our members get the attention they deserve with our rewards program
- Retention to assess what needs to be addressed, when, how and learn on how to improve
- Strategy to size opportunities, support the data evidence of business cases and help the business grow at the right pace and in the right direction

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

- 2-5 years relevant experience in an Insights analytics role
- Degree-level qualifications, with preference for degrees in applied finance, statistics, actuarial or a related analytical field
- Previous experience in turning raw data into actionable, value-adding insights and recommendations, tell a story (build and present packs), with a proven track record of successfully influencing the business
- Strong spreadsheet skills with Microsoft Excel applied to charting, data transformation and complex formulas.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to overlay commercial acumen to develop insights and recommendations - challenging the business when required
- Experience analysing large, complex, and high-volume relational data sets with tools such as
- SQL Server
- SAS Enterprise
- Miner,
- Tableau &Tableau Prep,
- Microsoft Access etc
- Adobe Analytics
- Adobe Audience Manager
- Google Analytics suite
- Tealeaf

Experience working within complex data warehouse environments:

- Snowflake
- AWS
- DB2
- Aurora

**Desirable**:

- R and/or Python capabilities for more advanced analysis
- Experience with MarTech platforms:

- Salesforce CRM
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Knowledge of the Health/Insurance industry
