About the Role
Manage and grow the business and client relationships through the efficient and safe delivery of projects and ensure that company shareholders benefit from the profitability and on-going viability of the business.
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Ferntree Gully
Reporting Line: National Construction Relocations Manager
Key Responsibilities
This opportunity will suit a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who has a passion for delivering positive client outcomes, and a knack for effective stakeholder engagement.
The primary focus of this role is to:
- Build relationships to gain new business.
- Prepare Quotations to all values (plus $1 million) assessing risks, and ensure all on site and off-site costs, overtime, materials, etc, are sent to the client in the quotation.
- Manage the State P&L, understand the financial position of the program.
- Deliver to the customers performance measures.
- Implement continuous Improvement
- Drive Service Delivery
- Drive Innovation and change for efficiencies.
- Drive client relationship for growth of the business
- Increase market share of work through service delivery.
- Decrease cost in the business
- Provide instruction and management guidance to Servicestream Field Supervisors and contractors working for Service Stream Communications on the “Construction”
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
The FSM is responsible for ensuring his Supervisors produce Audits
- An agreed QA Audits per business week per Field Supervisor in the reporting line
- Agreed OHE&S Audits per business week per Field Supervisor in the reporting line
- 1 x Toolbox Meeting for the Sub-contractors per month
- Ensure OH&S Field audits are closed out in less than 2 weeks form defect date, or sooner if the item is critical for safe working
- Ensure QA Field audits are closed out in less than 2 weeks form defect date
- Manage the Supervisors day to day
- Manage day to day issues within the region
- Communicate with the CM as required and by formal weekly meetings
The FSM is responsible for ensuring he has Meetings with:
- “The Client” - 1 x Governance meeting each month
- Preparation, participation, contribution and recording of management meetings with Supervisors - 1 Supervisor Toolbox meeting per month must be documented and recorded.
- Dissemination of information to the business - document updates, hazard alerts, process changes, etc.
- Ensuring training occurs in line with the training requirements
