Ongoing opportunity to bring your knowledge and experience in-house and work within our compliance and enforcement area, case managing complaints.
As a Compliance Officer you will be responsible for advanced case management for complaints which require a bespoke and innovative approach to control progress. The role supports the Complaints and Statutory Referrals team to provide sound assessment and evaluation of complex building and plumbing complaints; referrals and notifications from building surveyors and building surveyor termination requests, in accordance with relevant legislation and VBA guidelines.
Core functions include complex complaints management, complaint reviews, reporting, projects, quality assurance, mentoring team members and liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Who are we looking for
- Experience in working within a legislative or regulatory environment and/or in a relevant industry profession is highly desirable
- Strong customer focus and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders in complex environments, providing effective end-to-end management of complaints, and mentoring colleagues for continuous improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to prepare concise and accurate written documents, reports, briefings and correspondence.
- Plumbing or Building knowledge and experience would be highly desirable
