An opportunity for an experienced Compliance Officer to provide support to a range of community groups.

**Your new company**

This federal government agency works alongside government and non-government organisations to improve the wellbeing of individuals and families in Australian communities. A new position for a Compliance Officer has been created to aid the teams increase workload due to a large operational change within the branch.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Assistant Director, this role will be responsible for quality assurance and support for the wider leadership team. Further, you will be tasked with:

- Providing assistance to the leadership team to manage queries and triage phone hotline and mailbox.
- Generalist compliance and assurance activities, some of which involve higher sensitivity and complexity levels

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will be an experienced compliance / quality assurance specialist with a proven track record working in complex and high-sensitivity environments, supported by:

- Demonstrated experience in the review and assessment of complex information highlighting high level critical thinking and analysis skills
- An ability to provide quality assurance advice and quickly determine and triage potential risks
- Australian Citizenship along with Baseline Level Security Clearance, or ability to obtain
