**The Team**
The position of Compliance and Licensing Program Officer forms a part of the Game Management Authority and Stakeholder & Hunting Programs. The Game Management Authority delivers programs to improve and promote sustainability and responsibility in game hunting within Victoria. The Stakeholder and Hunting Programs Division is focused on maintaining and managing hunting stakeholder relationships and providing practical and useful advice, education, licensing and training to hunters, to increase voluntary compliance.
**The Role**
The Compliance and Licensing Program Officer works as part of a small team to coordinate and administer a management framework and provides administrative support to improve processes that support compliance functions.
Key Accountabilities include:
- ; Deliver administrative services to support a state-wide commercial wildlife harvesting program
- ; Reconcile licensing data, prepare reports and provide information
- ; Assess current frameworks and processes
- ; Establish good working relationships with stakeholders
- ; Support necessary corporate contracts and service agreements
- ; Identify any processing issues
**About You**
You will be an effective communicator and proactive team player who fosters good working relationships with other government departments and stakeholders.
Along with this, you will:
- ; Constantly looks for continuous improvement opportunities and ways to innovate
- ; Strong experience in administrative and/or operational roles
- ; Manage work programs in an effective and autonomous manner
