**The Role**
The APS 6 Logistics Compliance Team Leader is accountable under broad direction to undertake complex logistics compliance activities.

They will require the ability to work independently; having some authority and discretion to investigate information from diverse sources, and explore innovative approaches to support the longer-term business objectives.

They will undertake objective, systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence, providing detailed technical, professional and procedural advice in relation to complex logistics compliance activities.

**About our Team**
The Anzac SPO is in the Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group (NSSG) / Maritime Sustainment Division (MSD) / Major Surface Ships (MSS) located at Henderson, WA.

The Anzac SPO is a governance, assurance and strategic planning enterprise which oversees the outcomes of performance based commercial contracts.

The Material Asset Assurance Section (MAAS) is a group of highly motivated and professional individuals that provide verification and validation of contract deliverables in support of Defence Seaworthiness outcomes; this position reports to the Logistics Assurance Lead and supervises one staff member.
- Experience as a Manager, or supervising staff and able to provide examples of team leadership.
- Experience and understanding in Governance and Assurance.
- Experience as a Lead Auditor (Preferable) or auditing experience with abilities to draft and review reports on audit activities and performs compliance reporting for management.
- Experience as a Logistics Officer (highly preferable) or, extensive knowledge of Logistics requirements in regard to policy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communicating effectively and can negotiate with influence.
- Experience having difficult or challenging conversations.
- The ability to work in a busy environment, meeting deadlines and be able to prioritise their work.
- A high degree of self-motivation and a positive attitude.
- Experience as a Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS) user, and Local Site Administrator (LSA) desirable. Equivalent Inventory management System (IMS) experience is highly regarded.
