**Corporate Brief**

This position is an integral part to help grow the net new revenue for Medius worldwide. In this role, Business Development Representative will help our prospects improve their operations and achieve their technology goals around Accounts Payable Automation.

Our Sales Development Representatives, Business Development Representatives research prospective customers, create outreach strategies, and identify sales opportunities.

As a Business Development Representative, you will conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers, use your business acumen to identify how Medius could help a business grow, and successfully position the Medius value proposition.

This position offers an excellent base salary, a great super (10.5%) and an **attainable realistic commission.**

**In This Role, You will**
- Work closely and collaboratively with account executives (also known as sales reps) to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
- Schedule discovery meetings & demos for an account executive to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership with Medius
- Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned
- Help companies realize the benefits of AP Automation
- Set yourself up for a successful career by learning the necessary fundamentals to be a great salesperson, leader, and executive
- Utilize an outstanding tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, etc) to optimize your productivity and output
- **Be Sydney Based**. This is a **Hybrid role** as a **requirement**:

- **NOT Remote**.
- Coachable with a will and a determination to learn, Proactive attitude and Success Hungry person, results driven and goal focused, and above all wanting to develop a career in sales and outgrow their role.

- Fresh Graduate, or someone with a slight experience of Sales or any other setting that requires similar attributes mentioned above AND/OR have a strong desire to be in a progressive sales career.
- **Be able to demonstrate** an ability to meet or exceed targets either in professional, academic, sports and/or personal life.
- **It is a requirement** that you have **evidence based visible and quantifiable attributes** of: Someone who enjoys thinking and creating a well thought out strategy to achieve their goals - professional, **academic, sports and/or in personal life setting**:

- Excellent written, verbal communication skills and are well spoken.

- The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
- The technical aptitude to master our sales tools (Salesforce or a similar CRM) and soak up on information from a world class, highly costly and top training that is funded.

- The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection daily.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Graduate

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
