- Luke Gunn**About our Client**Our client is a leading global third party logistics provider and a trusted partner to some of Australia's most well known organisations. Due to continued growth in a number of key contracts they require an experienced and senior transport professional to lead regional operations, in the capacity of Regional Transport Manager.
**About the Opportunity**The Regional Transport Manager is a business critical senior leadership position that is responsible for driving day to day operational efficiencies and customer service levels, while also structuring the distribution network to support future growth plans. Reporting to Executive Leadership level and leading a team of 5 direct reports and a large team of indirects, your key accountability includes:
**Duties**
- Full operational and commercial responsibility for a large, complex regional transport operation
- Contribution to broader regional logistics strategy, and the continued growth of the business through appropriate customer solutions
- Responsibility for all company owned owned fleet and equipment, alongside a large subcontracted fleet
- Fostering a culture of 'safety and compliance first' across a large and diverse team of Managers, Fleet Controllers and company and subcontracted drivers
- Delivering a consistent and outstanding customer experience to a range of large national and international clients
