Cockerill Transport is searching for a dedicated scheduler to join its transport division. This is a permanent full-time position based in Tottenham.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee the effective and efficient scheduling of our transport fleet.

Managing logistics challenges in real-time, including re-routing and stakeholder updates

Maximising fleet utilisation while ensuring safety and compliance with company and regulatory requirements

Monitoring inventory and stock levels at clients via telemetry

Maintain internal driver induction software

Work in a team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to arrange on time deliveries and pickups.

Collaborate with external & internal workshop teams regarding repairs and scheduled maintenance for transport our fleet.

Commit to implementing Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations, Chain of Responsibility, our company values and all other legislative requirements.

Skills and Experience

Experience in fleet allocation, scheduling, or logistics coordination.

Experience with just in time deliveries and pickup - willingness to change and adapt quickly

Good organisation and prioritisation skills

Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients.

Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under time pressures.

Intermediate IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working within a dynamic team environment.

Industry experience in transport or manufacturing supply chain (advantageous but not essential).
