**About the Role**
Working with multi-disciplinary internal experts and consultant teams from various disciplines, the role will play a key, hands-on role as an advocate for integrated transport and movement principles. Responsibilities will include contributing to and coordinating transport studies, analyses, and plans, ensuring that movement and place principles are seamlessly integrated with land use planning and government policies. Your efforts will support the Transport Advice and Strategic Projects team in providing customer focussed, evidence based, multimodal transport and land use planning advice for specific regions, corridors, and public transport precincts/stations.

**Position Outcomes / Accountabilities**
- Integrated transport plans and analysis - Contributes to the development and delivery of integrated transport advice to improve planning and management of the transport system, at a network level and for specific regions, corridors, and public transport precincts/stations as required. Undertakes analysis of the performance of the system and helps refine transport plans and strategies to ensure system performance goals and service outcomes are met. Helps shape modal plans and guide the network investment pipeline, all with a lens to ensuring integrated transport and land use outcomes.
- Providing strategic advice on workable solutions - Applies technical transport planning methodologies and appreciation of the strategic vision for the State to help set the strategic vision for specific corridors and places, including public transport precincts/stations, and provide advice on movement needs and workable integrated transport network solutions and trade-offs. Applies strategic thinking that is broader than a specific mode or locality to ensure thriving and connected communities.
- High quality briefings, reports and advice - Contributes to the preparation of high quality analysis, briefs, proposals, reports and presentations as required across complex transport and land use to inform decision making on transport strategy and network planning. Develops and maintains good documentation and file management practices to support consistent, high-quality advice.
- Stakeholder relationships - Develops and maintains effective relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to support value creation and delivery of high-quality work. Assists in managing contracts with external partners as required to achieve corporate objectives.

Data literacy is crucial in this role, requiring the ability to derive insights from various data sources, analyse data using different tools, and understand its impact on transportation strategies. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring quality and effectiveness in all aspects of your work, even under time pressure.
