**About the role**:
This is a fast-moving cybersecurity environment and role, we are growing so this is a newly created role to manage several of our business operations

This is a ‘hands on’ role, and you will be responsible for the business operations, including the people management, in the below areas of our business leading the teams;
- SecOps - incident response team in initial detection, analysis, and investigation of security events to determine likelihood of compromise and respond according to processes;
- Compliance -continuous improvement of Red Piranha's cyber security governance model through framework alignment to ensure our business remains a cutting-edge leader of the cyber security field
- Infrastructure - maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
- Product management - Work with product management across areas of competitor analysis, product roadmap and including analyst briefings, costings, assembling and improving product through a CICD process.
- Ability to convey security concepts, best practice, and ideas to all stakeholders of the business.
- Work with team leaders to develop reporting and provide reports to senior management on business operations.

You will enhance the operational procedures, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting, and look for opportunities to expand systems.

The role will rely on extensive operational management experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, while performing a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

**About you**:

- Security governance, risk and compliance experience
- Knowledge of cybersecurity audit frameworks, policy and standards e.g. ISO 27001 and PCI DSS (certifications preferable)
- Strong people management experience, to ensure competing deadlines and priorities are met by the teams you manage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving skills, and be a critical & analytical thinker with exceptional planning and organisation skills
- Strong analytical thinking, written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in project management
- Ability to drive productivity and efficiencies in the business, whilst still serving as a valued team member
- 4+ years experience as an Operations Manager

**Clearance Requirements**:

- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Police Clearance
- Must have full Australian working rights.
