We are currently seeking a Manager Procurement to join our Finance & Procurement team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Perth corporate office.

Reporting to the Head of Finance & Procurement, you will lead the global Procurement Function to deliver efficient and effective procurement sourcing strategies that assist the business deliver on our strategy.

**The opportunity**
- Leading and delivering of the Company’s Procurement vision and strategy inline with the organisations strategy.
- Leading the development & delivery of the company’s Procurement Governance framework and ensure adherence to the Procurement Governance and internal control framework across the global business.
- Ensuring global Procurement performance KPIs are met and reported.
- Driving simplicity and standardisation of procurement processes and reporting, providing design improvements to deliver compliant procurement practices.
- Providing trusted commercial expertise to the business
- Empowering senior leadership to make value adding decisions through the provision of high quality data and analytics.
- Leading the strategic sourcing processes to provide direction and achieve optimum value and cost savings to the Company.
- Challenging thinking and provide astute recommendations on how to maximise returns and support St Barbara’s growth ambitions.
- Delivering a rigorous programme of Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence for the St Barbara Procurement Team.

- Strong procurement and purchasing experience
- Strong management experience in leading and developing teams
- Commercially focussed with business acumen
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Change management experience
- High energy with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Relevant experience in the Mining Industry is desirable
