This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known organisation based in the Newcastle region. Working within the national HR team and reporting into the Group HR Manager, you will be a dedicated HR Officer that loves building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and you will live and breathe your employer’s brand, company values, and vision.
As the HR Officer, you will provide specialist, accurate, and tailored advice around all recruitment matters, as well as end to end recruitment processes across a multi-site environment. You will collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure you help the business achieve Human Resources, WHS, and L&D goals in line with the current company’s vision. You will also work closely with the business to coach, mentor, and assist in onboarding, contracts, recruitment, and lower-level investigation processes, as well as work on broader HR projects.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Providing advice, information, coaching, and support to all levels on recruitment matters
- End to end Recruitment and Selection
- Administering employment conditions and remuneration
- Interpretation of awards and legislation
- Onboarding and induction
- Conducting exit interviews
- Co-ordinate organisation wide training initiatives including maintaining training calendars
- Review, refine and implement policies and procedures
The key to your success in this role will be your ability to engage with the business and build strong relationships, coupled with your sound knowledge drawn from previous HR/Recruitment experience.
