About the role…
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Whittingham. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from fostering a positive company culture to employee recruitment, development, and wellbeing. Your duties will span across various areas of the business including but not limited to including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, workers compensation, performance management, employee engagement, separation processes, and, most importantly, contributing to building a positive workplace culture.

Supporting our People & Culture Manager you will assist in
- Managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding ensuring a seamless experience.
- Ensuring on-going compliance with reporting requirements in relation to visa programs (e.g. 482, WHM, PALM Scheme)
- Liaising and supporting the managers and supervisors with employee concerns and management.
- Proactively managing employees across, absenteeism, welfare and disciplinary action as required.
- Ensuring that all employees who utilise company provided accommodation have agreements in place and that the conditions of the properties are maintained to the required standards.
About You…
With no two days the same, the ideal candidate will be solutions focused, flexible, have a growth mindset and be able to instill a culture of continuous development, collaboration and teamwork. Ideally, you will have –
- Previous experience in an HR support role
- Certificate IV or higher qualification in Human Resources, or a related field
- Solid understanding of Australian workplace legislation, Fair Work Act, and visa/work rights obligations.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills,
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Genuine willingness to learn, engage in on-the-job training, and take on challenging projects.
- Experience working with multicultural workforces highly regarded,
- Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Please note this is an in-office role that does not allow for working from home.
Additionally, we are located in an area not accessible by public transport, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver's License and have their own transport.
