About the Role
The Personal Assistant is a key role in supporting the GM Trading and GM Renewables in setting culture and executing the strategy of the teams.
This role is responsible for providing a range of support services including diary management, event organisation and communication drafting. The role is critical in supporting the smooth, reliable and efficient operation of the business units through the effective planning and organising of tasks, meetings and events.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage diaries by reviewing and actioning meeting requests in a timely manner
- Work autonomously to deal promptly and comprehensively with all enquiries and correspondence, prioritising as necessary
- Create content supporting team activities e.g. Leadership Team meetings and Town Halls
- Assist the GMs in reviewing and approving expenses, invoices and other items within delegation levels
- Organise travel for GMs and review team travel requests to ensure compliance with Travel Policy
- Coordinate logistics of meetings and functions ranging from team meetings to conferences (both on and off-site location)
- Invoice processing within SAP
- Assist with official company events as required
- Enable an efficient workplace through collaboration with the Facilities and Employee Services teams
- Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environment Policies and standards are adhered to

- High degree of empathy
- Adaptable - happy to deal with changing priorities and ambiguity
- Intermediate MS office skills a minimum (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint - essential)
- Experience in SAP Fiori & Concur highly regarded
- Comfortable with learning new programs, systems or ideas
