Wilmar Ingredients has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager - Food & Beverage Ingredients to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity, based at our Yarraville, VIC head office. Reporting to the Industrial Sales Manager, this role will play a crucial part in leading the long-term profitable growth of our non-sugar sweeteners and functional ingredient portfolios within Wilmar Ingredients.

**Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Overseeing the non-sugar sweetener range and related functional food ingredients to ensure quality and competitiveness.
- Developing and managing relationships with overseas manufacturers, focusing on pricing, specifications, and supplier performance.
- Managing some key customer accounts to drive business continuity and identify growth opportunities.
- Providing technical insights and market analysis on competitors and trends.
- Identifying and pursuing new product ingredients opportunities within the relevant ingredient portfolio.
- Implementing strategies to grow these ingredients and enhance our market position.
- Monitoring sales forecasts and stock levels, ensuring uninterrupted supply and managing quality issues as needed.

**What we're wanting you to bring to the table**:
This role is ideal for someone with experience in the Australian Food & Beverage industry and a strong background in product management of ingredients.
- A tertiary qualification in Product Management, Account Management, or a related field.
- Experience in Product Management and Key Account Management.
- Experience in ingredients' selling B2B to the Food & Beverage markets.
- Experience in introducing new ingredients into the market and market research leading to successful launches.
- Proven ability to generate new sales on a profitable basis and maintain ongoing business relationships.
- Ability to develop good supplier relationships and customers.
- Strong commercial acumen, particularly in negotiating, costings and profitability.

We have a long history of importing key ingredients in the functional food, non-sugar sweeteners, cosmetic ingredients and basic Oleochemicals portfolios.
