BAR MANAGER

An exciting opportunity to join the team at Navi Restaurant and take the reins to build and develop our existing beverage program within a small, tight-knit team.

We are looking for the next person to drive the beverage program at Navi Restaurant, with the focus predominantly being on bespoke cocktails, in-house ferments, utilising excess produce from the kitchen/native ingredients & our non-alcoholic beverage match.
Working closely with chef/owner Julian Hills and the restaurant manager, you'll be the creative mastermind behind the beverages offered not only in Navi Restaurant, but also Navi lounge.
Navi is Julian’s dream. His own space to create a balanced tasting menu using ingredients sourced from small producers and local farms. Julian hopes to interact with guests as he presents his work and explains the story behind each dish.
From foraging for ingredients to the hand-made ceramics and the final product, each element is imagined and brought to life through the creative process and expertise of the Chef.
What we want from you:

- True passion for everything beverage and hospitality
- Experience in fermentation/brewing & distilling would be beneficial
- Firm knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer & wine
- Strong leadership skills and capable of developing & managing a small team
- Exceptional communication and presentation
- Solid understanding and experience of stock control & ordering
- Ability to develop a unique, modern and forward thinking beverage program
- particularly with our non-alcoholic beverage matches for the degustation menu
