Position: Retail Manager

**Salary**: $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation
Location: YARRAVILLE 3013
Hours: 38
Mode: Full-time
Experience required: Minimum 1 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Oversee the daily operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Determine appropriate product mix, stock levels, and service standards to meet customer expectations
- Formulate and implement purchasing policies, set competitive pricing, and manage marketing initiatives
- Promote and advertise the store’s goods and services to increase brand awareness and foot traffic
- Sell goods directly to customers, provide detailed product advice, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and financial transactions
- Prepare and manage store budgets, monitor costs, and optimise profitability
- Lead recruitment, selection, training, and supervision of retail staff to build a capable and motivated team
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and internal policies
- Develop and manage staff rosters and schedules to ensure efficient coverage
- Liaise with suppliers, manage stock replenishment, and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation
- Qualifications:

- Tertiary qualification in Retail Management, Business, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)

Skills & Experience Required:

- Minimum 1 year experience in a retail management role
- Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities
- Strong skills in inventory management, merchandising, and customer service
- Excellent budgeting and financial reporting skills
- Knowledge of retail sales strategies, product promotion, and marketing
- Familiarity with OHS regulations and store compliance requirements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multicultural retail environment

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
