**About the Role**
Undertake key financial and systems activities that support the effective implementation and administration of grant funding and programs, including financial planning, budget analysis, forecasting and reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Undertake key financial and systems activities that support the effective implementation and administration of grant funding and programs, including financial planning, budget analysis, forecasting and reporting.
- Identify, analyse and monitor issues, trends and risks with the potential to significantly impact on financial, budgetary and program service delivery. Advise management on impacts, options and recommend corrective actions to minimise risk and support enhanced service delivery and financial management.
- Must have an understanding of the flow through of information from different interfaces into SAP
- advanced Excel skills
- Banking and bank reconciliation skills ideal
- Ability to work with and analyse large volumes of data
- Has good problem solving skills in a financial / banking environment
- Ability to manage adhoc tasks

**About you**
- Providing accurate and complete financial information and grant funding options at short notice and within tight deadlines to stakeholders such as the Minister and DPE senior executive staff.
- Effectively managing urgent and conflicting work demands arising as a result of servicing several staff within the section and being the key financial contacts for the section.
- Understanding systems and processes and undertaking advanced analysis, with the use of appropriate software, of grants, performance and financial data, and reporting of results in a concise and clear manner and within tight timeframes.
- Inherent requirements of the role/
- Essential Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting and membership of a recognised Australian professional accounting body. CA or CPA
- Must be Citizen of ANZ or Permanent Residents
- Per NSW Gov.'t guidelines all employees must be fully vaccinated or provide medical exemption
