We are currently looking for an Acquisitions Manager to join our Group Investments team in Melbourne.
**The Opportunity - About the Role**
In this key role you will contribute to the group's growth strategies, by identifying and executing acquisition opportunities to strengthen Stockland’s Land Leased communities’ residential development pipeline in VIC.
Reporting to the Acquisitions Director this role will be responsible for the execution of commercial transactions including the completion of negotiation strategies, deal structuring and broadening of commercial skills within the Acquisitions Team. This individual will be expected to show a high degree of initiative, proactively lead all facets of a transaction, have strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills and works collaboratively and inclusively with internal and external stakeholders.
**Your main duties will include, but not be limited to**:
- Originate, identify and execute transaction opportunities.
- Analyse and shortlist opportunities.
- Prepare feasibilities, cash flow models and assist in deal structuring.
- Manage due diligence process with internal and external advisors.
- Coordinate the internal approval process, including preparing and reviewing papers and recommendations for the Business Unit Leadership Teams, Senior Leadership Team and Board.
- Develop and maintain an extensive network of industry relationships with agents, owners, developers, valuers and other property consultants to stay in the deal flow.
- Assist with the integration of new assets into the portfolio.
- Engage and collaborate with key internal customers and stakeholders to build and maintain strong working relationship and to drive positive business outcomes.

**About you**:
- Proven experience in a similar role managing complex acquisitions from identification through to execution and /or a strong understanding of the development and acquisition process
- A solid understanding of development and feasibility studies is a pre-requisite
- Ability to prepare comprehensive business cases and acquisition proposals
- Advanced analytical and numerical skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent stakeholders’ management skills and a proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills
- Appropriate tertiary qualification
