Large Property Group are looking for an Acquisitions Manager to join them on a permanent basis. High Growth trajectory and an active role within a fast paced team. You’ll take a lead to source, assess and execute on acquisition and development opportunities across the asset class.

Key responsibilities:

- Underwrite and undertake due diligence for acquisition and development opportunities.
- Analyse various outcomes and make recommendations pertaining to those opportunities.
- Undertake legal and contract negotiations.
- Undertake development feasibility and coordinate construction arrangements.
- Instruct and manage consultants throughout the due diligence process.
- You may be required to assist the asset management team or take a ‘lead role’ to enable repositioning of existing assets and / or capital projects
- Assist the business to assess and deliver development (greenfield or brownfield land acquisition) and value add opportunities for acquisition
- Manage the transaction through entire process
- Prepare development feasibility and investment papers for investment committee and Board for review and approval
- Maintain strong relationships with key investment sales agents and other business stakeholders across various asset classes
- From time-to-time assist the assessing development opportunities and capex profile of investment transactions

About you:

- A minimum of 10 years experience in the real estate industry
- Strong understanding of valuation, value drivers and the valuation process, development and construction pricing, development documentation, town planning and land subdivision
- Strong and extensive contact network to source and procure acquisition and development opportunities.
- Proven track record of delivering successful development and value add projects
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
