Just Better Care Macarthur is are looking for an experienced NDIS Support Coordinator, whom is looking to take an exciting role in a home support business that has been providing services for many years and is presently enjoying further growth across Macarthur, Murrumbidgee Lachlan and Central West NSW. We provide a number of services including NDIS, HCP, VHC and Brokerage services.

In addition, you will have a strong understanding of the NDIS and its funding, policies, standards, protocols and processes.

For over 15 years, we have been supporting older people, and people living with disability, to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Support clients with transitioning to the NDIS ensuring all necessary NDIS information is fully available for successful transition and assist in answering related questions.
- Support, represent and advocate for clients where this is required.
- Ensure support services are there to optimise NDIS funding.
- Effective collaboration and communication with key internal and external stakeholders regarding NDIS activities including establishing and maintaining effective relationships with existing and new stakeholders.
- Assisting the service delivery team in providing information and support to services in all NDIS matters to ensure clients are reaching the goals they aim for.

**About you**:

- Caring, compassionate & friendly
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, including familiarity with, and confidence in using, the Microsoft Suite
- Proven relationship management with all internal and external stakeholders, as well as good interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Qualifications in Social Work, Allied Health, Case Management or equivalent experience on the NDIS and its funding, policies, standards, protocols and processes.
- High Level of report writing skills

**What you will need**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check
- Customer service skills demonstrated by experience
- Qualifications in Social Work, Allied Health, Case Management or other relevant areas.
- Knowledge/experience in NDIS Support Coordination and or NDIS Audit requirements
- Previous experience in the community care or health/aged care sector
- Drivers Licence
- First Aid & CPR (preferred)
- COVID-19 Vaccinations up to date
