**Experienced Educator | Outside School Hours Care | Narellan Area**

These two services are located on the Traditional Land of the Dharawal & Gundangarra People. Traditionally, they lived as hunter-gatherers-fishers and had a strong focus on family kinships.

Are you an OSHC Educator looking for growth, development, and career progression? We are seeking passionate Educators to join this service in the South-West Sydney area.

This Approved Provider is dedicated to upskilling and developing OSHC Educators and supporting them to progress within the organisation.

This Approved Provider places a strong emphasis on ongoing professional development and growth. You will be greeted with a fantastic onboarding program that will allow you to get to know the service, children & team. You will have ongoing access to an online training platform, and the opportunity to attend an annual conference focusing on pedagogy and practice.

Educator wellbeing is a focus of this Approved Provider seen with access to an EAP, support from you Coordinator & wellness initiatives.

As well as Educator wellness, there is a key focus on children’s mental health. A program has been developed with the Sydney Brain and Mind Centre which is headed by a Wellness Coordinator who will develop and support you to implement the program with your Services’ children.

The Service, School & Approved Provider are all passionate about inclusivity and diversity. You must also be keen to support inclusive practices to ensure equity for families, children, and educators.

**About the role**:

- Experienced Educator role - someone looking to grow and develop their skills
Permanent part-time role
- Minimum 15 hours a week (opportunities for increased hours)
- Opportunities for career advancement within the Service (e.g. Responsible Person, Second-in-Charge)
- Opportunities to work across two services (very close to each other)

- Long standing teams at both Services with one of the Service Coordinators being there for over 15 years

- Both Services are licensed for under 65 children
- Services are well resourced for both children and educators
- You will be joining an inclusive and supportive service

**About you**:

- You are passionate about working with children and ensuring welcoming and nurturing environments are provided
- You are keen to grow and develop within the Service
- You are able to effectively supervise groups of school aged children in a play-based environment
- You have an understanding of your responsibilities as a Mandatory Reporter
- You are reflective and are always striving for continuous improvement

**Pre-requisites**:

- Experience working in Early Childhood Education or Outside School Hours Care
- Ability to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status (at least 2 doses)
- Valid and current NSW Paid Working with Children Check
- Although a qualification isn’t essential, a Certificate or Diploma of Children Services or working towards a qualification will be looked upon fondly.
