WHAT YOU WILL DO AND BE PART OF
- This Logistics Coordinator position will have overall responsibility for inventory control, product demonstration requests processing, including scheduling, sales order management, freight invoicing and providing coverage of the sales and service support coordinator when required.
- The role will manage an inventory system using Excel, including shipping/receiving, stock transfer procedures and stocktake.
- Managing inventory in off-site storage locations and managing freight/container shipments and managing equipment repair freight is part of this role.
- You will match invoices to purchase orders to facilitate payment approval by the finance department.
- You will ship products to customers, including managing orders, packaging, recording serial number information, using shipping systems, and obtaining proof of delivery (POD) as shipment confirmation.
- You will investigate and resolve customer service issues related to orders, shipments and invoices.
- You will generate documentation for control of all demonstration equipment and manage end to end handling of this equipment.
- You will manage freight costs and reporting and verify and confirm rates charged on freight invoices are correct.
- You will manage freight companies to maintain best company preferred rates.

WHAT KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS YOU WILL NEED TO GET THE JOB
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar logistics/inventory position.
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel).
- Experience in Oracle ERP system preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
- Highly motivated and attention to detail.
- Friendly and sociable personality and good team player.
