Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Regularly monitor SIL house operations to ensure service quality, safety, and cleanliness, and conduct audits to maintain compliance.
- Investigate incidents thoroughly, document them accurately in CRM, and report outcomes promptly.
- Provide regular reports to the concerned stakeholders
- Engage with participants, families, and support workers to review goals and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide crisis intervention, facilitate participant welfare meetings and ensure service satisfaction
- Ensure all records meet NDIA/NDIS standards, maintain detailed documentation, and lead regular audits for accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with Care Coordinators, families, and support teams, sharing participant updates and feedback.
- Mentor support staff, lead performance reviews, identify training needs, and support ongoing professional development.
- Facilitate meetings with DSWs to gather insights on participant care and share feedback with stakeholders.
- Oversee logistics such as appointments, activities, and meals while ensuring effective resource use and operational decision-making.
- Participate in on-call duties and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Disability, Diploma, or any relevant experience in a similar sector.
- Experience in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years.
- Knowledge of NDIS regulations, compliance, and quality assurance standards.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to mentor and support teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and record-keeping abilities.
- Current unrestricted driver's license
- Working with Children OCHRE card
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
Desired Knowledge/Experience
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the full suite of Office 365.
- Demonstrated high-level external relations and networking skills
- An understanding of the needs and considerations of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse clients and their families
- Demonstrated application and management of EEO, WH&S, and Risk Management policies and practices.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.
