We are seeking a Data & Reporting Analyst to join the Oceania Portfolio Management team, based in Richmond, Australia.As the Data & Reporting Analyst, you will support Fonterra Oceania with advanced data capabilities to help drive business improvement and utilise available technologies.Reporting to the GM Oceania Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for the compilation and maintenance of large datasets for consumption by business managers and their teams. You will also create novel data sets and analytics to support Fonterra Oceania strategy and portfolio objectives.Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop new and continuously improve regular performance reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
- Deliver accurate data and regular reports to the business within agreed timelines.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement via data visualisation.
- Assist in data cleaning, preparation, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in ad hoc projects.
**About You**
As the Data & Reporting Analyst, you will be passionate about data and analytics, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.You will be capable of working towards tight deadlines and changing priorities, as well as demonstrate the innate ability to find the data and transform it into a story.In addition, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Data Science, Economics, or Statistics.
- 1-2 years’ experience in an Analyst / Data / Insights role within a corporate matrix.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, with the ability to create pivot tables, perform calculations, generate charts / graphs, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language), and data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
