Analyst, Execution Data Analytics and Reporting

We are currently recruiting for an Analyst to join the Execution Data Team, where you will contribute to managing the breadth of work required to build and run NAB’s single-source-of-truth (data/digital processes). You will use your initiative and problem-solving skills to improve data quality and processes to optimise effectiveness of the SST.
Your primary purpose will be to understand priorities and ensure delivery and operations are in line with business objectives.

**In this Analyst role, you will**:
- Implement key elements of data management process and technical build required to deploy and run the nab single-source-of-truth (SST for key data that tracks execution and performance across whole-of-strategy).
- Create practical and strategic efficiencies across key data processes related to the SST (e.g. leveraging target state assets and processes, converging and consolidating reporting across whole-of-strategy).
- Leverage data capability across Strategy & Innovation to drive value by enhancing insights and creating process/analytic efficiencies.
- Ensure governance of key data is consistent, clear processes and tools enable the Execution team to create and maintain high fidelity success definitions per specific parts of strategy.
- Ensure the Execution team can effectively monitor and govern performance, including against domain objectives, and support leaders in developing recommendations to address underperformance and roadblocks.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Expertise as an Analyst (and or similar role) with banking/financial services acumen, within an in-house corporate development, or investment banking, chartered accounting firm or consulting business.
- Strong technical skills across data engineering/analysis/digital toolkits (e.g., SQL database, html, JavaScript, Python, PowerBI)
- Experience building, deploying, and communicating strategic reports and/or reporting infrastructure.
- Demonstrates problem-solving and numerical skills to deliver concepts in a complex, sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Ability to interact, influence and work with various stakeholders.
