**About the role**

As a Data Insights and Reporting Analyst in the Member Analytics and Insights team at Cbus, you will design and deliver data provisioning, analysis, and dashboard reporting to support business decision-making. This role is crucial for ensuring Cbus operates as a data-driven fund, enhancing member retention, customer experience, and business opportunities while balancing risk and regulatory requirements. Operating in a rapidly growing business, you will lead engagements with key functions, develop and deliver analytics and reports, and collaborate with other analysts to drive organisational excellence and member outcomes.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Work closely with stakeholders to scope and deliver reporting initiatives that support their business strategy development and implementation
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making
- Manage user acceptance testing, product release and maintenance
- Optimise data models and queries to enhance performance and scalability
- Use fact based story telling to communicate data and insights to non-technical stakeholders

**What will you bring?**

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Power BI with proven experience in Data Modelling, DAX and Power Query
- Advanced SQL skills for querying large, complex datasets from AWS Redshift, Spectrum, and SQL Server.

Professional Competencies
- Tertiary qualification in numeric or business disciplines.
- Experience in data analytics, preferably within Superannuation, financial services or Insurance.
- Strong problem-solving, forecasting, and analytical skills, with the ability to convey findings in clear, non-technical terms.

Data Analytics & Reporting
- Experience managing and analyzing large datasets across multiple sources.
- Proficient in identifying business use cases, interpreting data results, and delivering actionable insights.
- Skilled in building Power Bl dashboards and working with data warehouses and
- CRM systems.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business-aligned reporting solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
